CONGRATULATIONS to all of the boxers who were crowned Western District champion this past weekend.
A total of 17 Finals were contested at the Normandy Hotel in Renfrew on Friday evening at the annual Western District Youth & Elite Championships.
Kilsyth Golden Gloves’ Joe McCluskey, who won the Youth 92+kg Final, and Barrhead’s Luke McFadyean, who won the Elite 71kg Final, were also named best Youth and Elite boxer of the night respectively.
