Women’s Boxing – Club Shows

November 4, 2014 By Paul Coleman

Dear Members

We have shared an idea with your respective District Secretaries today that we hope, you as our members,  will receive positively and embrace.

As you will know, we are keen to grow the number of competitive female boxers in Scotland and, currently,  limited numbers makes match making a challenge.

However, to create interest, growth and to provide more competitive opportunities, we would like to ask all clubs that currently have a Boxing Scotland permit or will be applying for one in coming weeks/moths, to attempt to put at least one Woman’s bout on the bill – More than one if feasible.

We understand this may not always be possible but will certainly help focus the Boxing Scotland family’s mind on this key element of our development.

We are working on a number of other incentives and we will publish further details on these as they are launched.

Your support as always is appreciated and please like/share this post as widely as you can.
